I have been woodcarving for over twenty years, as an amateur, semi-professional and professional. My initial introduction to the art was back in 1981 at the John Makepiece School for Craftsmen at Parnham House. Having an engineering background helps with solving weight and balance problems which can occur whilst working on large projects. Each piece of work I do aims to capture life and movement that will make people stop and give it more than a second glance.
